Sam Draut is a journalist with six years experience in multimedia platforms covering a business news, sports and feature content. He is known for creative thinking, model work ethic, meeting deadlines and leading the charge to make a project happen.
Draut is currently a reporter and digital producer who reports at WDRB News, a TV station in Louisville, Ky. He previously served as Editor for The Oldham Era and a Deputy Editor for a Sports Illustrated website covering the University of Louisville. Before working at the weekly newspaper in Oldham County, Draut worked at The Louisville Cardinal student newspaper. He has freelanced for the Associated Press, Louisville Women’s Sports and 27 Outs.
